North Shore KIA is a member of the Dick Irwin Group Ltd. a family owned & operated business since 1969.

The organization was originally founded in 1969 when Dick Irwin moved from Healy Motors in Edmonton to establish Dick Irwin Chev/Olds in North Vancouver. As the dealership grew, the Dick Irwin Group began to look outside General Motors to other opportunities. That opportunity came in the form of the new Honda Civic, and so Pacific Honda opened in 1974. Its success led to our expansion to Port Moody with the addition of Westwood Honda in 1978.

Finally in 2001, when Pacific Honda relocated to its new home in the North Shore Automall and left its location empty, we took the opportunity to launch what is now, North Shore Kia. After more than 40 years in business, you can count on our products, our service, and our integrity.
